We know our Geggie families love to show their appreciation to our teachers and staff.
To help them do so, we have collected information on our faculty's favorite things including flowers, snacks, and restaurants.
ParentSquare
Rockwood uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily by posting announcements inside the secure ParentSquare system. Parents, students, and staff can be notified about these posts by email, text and/or the ParentSquare app. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
Infinite Campus
Infinite Campus is Rockwood's web-based student system that provides parents with information via the Campus Portal. Parents can view report cards for students in grades K-5. Grades, assignments and reports are available for students in grades 6-12. All grade 6-12 students also have a Campus account.
My Ride K-12
Rockwood uses My Ride K-12 to track its transportation operations. My Ride K-12 delivers real-time school bus arrival and departure information and reduces wait times at the bus stop.
Parents can sign up for notifications to be automatically alerted about changes in your student's bus status. Push notifications mean you don't have to worry about checking the app.
Parent Pay Online
Rockwood families have the opportunity to pay for their child's school fees online, as well as obtain cash receipts and view their payment history of school purchases.
Parents can login to a secure site to access their family account where they can purchase items and make payments for multiple children in a single transaction. Some examples include but are not limited to the following:
Elementary School: Field Trips, Supplies, Library Fines
Breakfast & Lunch Menus
View breakfast and lunch menus for elementary, middle, and high schools.
You can also receive menu updates directly to your phone or mobile device via ParentSquare by joining the Lunch Menus group.
My School Bucks
The meal account system is not a "charge" system. Parents are encouraged to send money with their child to be deposited in their meal account or deposit money on My School Bucks.
When writing out checks for your student's meal account, please include: name, address, phone number, student name and student I.D. Checks should be made payable to Rockwood Child Nutrition.
Child Nutrition Services will make every effort to ensure that parents/guardians of elementary students are contacted if additional money needs to be deposited in their account.
Board of Education Advocacy Committee
The Rockwood Board of Education established the Advocacy Committee in 2024 to diligently monitor and communicate legislation that could impact the quality and condition of education and resources in the district.
Grade Level Facebook Groups
All Geggie grade levels have a dedicated, private Facebook group that is organized by one of the parents in that grade. These Facebook groups are not organized or moderated by Geggie Elementary staff or the Geggie PTO.
