Calling all creative and talented 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Geggie Tigers—this is your moment to shine!
Geggie’s Got Talent is back and will take place on Thursday, February 26th.
We are excited to showcase the amazing abilities of our students and encourage a wide variety of acts, including singers, dancers, magicians, poets, actors, comedians, and more.
Important Dates:
- January 5th - 5th Grade Act Registration Opens
- January 12th - 3rd & 4th Grade Act Registration Opens
- January 23rd - Act Registration Closes
- January 23rd - Stagehand Signup Opens
- February 4th - Act Previews
- February 25th - Dress Rehearsal
- February 26th - Geggie's Got Talent Performance
Guidelines:
- Acts should be 1.5-2 minutes in length
- Acts must be grade school appropriate - final approval lies with the GGT committee/school administration
- A printed copy of lyrics for all music and a printed copy of all dialogue must be submitted at the Act Previews (or prior)
- Acts must provide their own music, props, costumes, etc. - music can be provided on a flash drive, a CD, or emailed
Don't want to be on stage but still want to be a part of the event?
We need stagehands!
We are looking for several 4th and 5th grade students to work as stagehands during the Geggie's Got Talent performance.
Stagehands will help move props on and off the stage, manage the flow of performers, and assist parent volunteers.
This is a great way to be involved if you do not want to perform on stage.
Signups for stagehands will open on January 23rd.
