Holiday Shop
December 9-11, 2025
This year we have partnered with Penguin Patch to offer a Holiday Shop during the school day for our students.
Students will have the opportunity to purchase gifts for parents, grandparents, siblings, and other important people in their lives.
Items in the shop will be priced from under $1 to $10. Many of the items are "personalized" with Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, etc.
A flyer with a gift list planner/cash envelope will be sent home the week prior to the Holiday Shop.
*New this year, the Holiday Shop will be cash only to alleviate issues with high transaction fees and refunds for unspent funds.
We will have volunteers available to help students choose gifts and work within their budget.

Want to help at the Holiday Shop? We're looking for volunteers.
We need 3 volunteers to work each two-hour shift. Shifts start at 9:30am, 11:30am, and 1:30pm. Each grade level will have a 1-hour time slot to shop each day (it will be the same hour each day).
Volunteers will help students choose gifts and work within their budgets, restock merchandise, and run the 'register'.
*All volunteers must have a completed background check on file with the school district and have completed the Intent to Volunteer form.
We also have a setup volunteer slot for Friday, December 5th from 2:30-3:30pm and a cleanup volunteer slot for Thursday, December 11th from 4:00-5:30pm.

How does the Holiday Shop work?
Students will shop with their classes during the time selected by their teacher. If your child(ren) is absent on their shopping day, the teacher may send them at an alternate time.
Do I send in cash? Can I use a credit card?
Please send cash in the envelope provided (sent home the week prior to the Holiday Shop). It is helpful to discuss with your child(ren) how much they should spend on each person on their shopping list.
Remember, items in the shop are priced from under $1 to $10 (80% of the items are under $5 and 60% are under $3).
